I'm Back!

Hello All!! So sorry I haven't posted in forever, life has been busy busy busy! From the Winter Park Art Festival, to assignments in school, to college trips galore, I haven't been able to do anything but eat sleep and snap some shots in between! One thing I am presently very VERY excited about is The National Geographic Seminar on Light I am going to in ATL!! I can't wait to talk to NG photographers about what they do, how they got into it, and how I can get into travel photography too! Oh, and yeah, learn about some nifty ways to use light too :) T-Minus 20 days!

P.S. I hope everyone had a splendid and joyful Easter!

Here is the Winter Park Art Festival!

Always one of my favorite times of year! I mean look at those awesome wire sculptures hanging everywhere!

Macro Photography Assignment...

So I was looking through screen savers on my computer for awesome macro images I could try to do {yes, I was that stumped} and came across one that just had tons of pictures of paper super close up so I decided to try it and this is what I got! I ended up turning the top image in, but couldn't decide between these two. WARNING: it is extraordinarily hard to focus for the tiny sliver of a line that is the edge of the paper. Definitely use a tripod and set your camera on Manual Focus! Play around a lot with light too, different angles can make the paper look really cool. I used a lightbox and set the paper on top of it for this, with a flash.

Lunching at Hillstone!

Not the best resolution on these otters {they were really far away} but I just thought they were waaay too cute!!

Up next: Spring Break! Daufuskie/Hilton Head/Charleston
