Props to all of the country fans that got that reference :) SOOO here in Florida, it has been raining nonstop for about 3 days straight! Living in the Sunshine state for the entirety of my life has been wonderful and I love those clear super sunny days, but I absolutely LOVE the weekends (or in this case school weeks) where it is downright dreary and blissfully cozy. On these days, doing my homework on the back porch in my Dad's big Rollins College sweatshirt whilst listening to the rain is just the zen time I need after a long chaotic school day! Speaking of school...T-minus 6 days and 23 hours until I am finished with Junior year and I officially become a Senior! Oh how the time has flown.... Well anyway, back to the wonderfully stormy days; here's some pics!
All that is needed for these is a super fast shutter (say 1/1250s) and in my case, a high ISO (about 2500).
I am beginning to come to terms with the fact that sometimes you have to be okay with getting digital noise if you want to get fast action shots. It's a bit of a "which is more important for the shot?" kind of deal. Nonetheless, when you can have a low ISO, go as low as you can to avoid digital noise. {Unless it works for the shot!}
Hope you had a splendid Friday!!
XOXO,
Ellie
